President Obama pledged Tuesday night to cure Americans from what he called "the crushing cost of health costs," saying the country could not afford to put health-care reform on hold.

"We know that doctors are not perfect," said Krebs, an assistant professor at the Indiana University School of Medicine. "But it's not a good start to spend a lot of time complaining about the past."
